This Plugin was created by request, but is not currently in use on the site at this time, but is easy to add to a page. It is included in this documentation for the sake of completeness.
Purpose:
The plugin is designed to give site visitors an estimated cost to build a home of a certain size. There was to be additional configuration, which would provide the visitor with an estimated completion date.
Usage
Add the Hug Cost Estimator block to the page and configure it. The configuration presents options for the visitor to choose square footage range. As the development of the plugin is not 100% complete, the styling could be updated with the completion of the date requirements, once provided to the developer.
You might use this plugin on New Home Portfolio pages so the visitor would be able to estimate the cost to build the home, based on their square footage requirements.
For example:
- Minimum Square Footage: 2500
- Maximum Square Footage: 5000
- Step Increase: 250
- Minimum dollar range (Per Sq Ft): 300
- Maximum dollar range (Per Sq Ft): 400
