Purpose
These fields add some consistency to Blog Posts and also provide some functionality to them.
- Blog Title: currently not used in any display. It is a bit redundant, actually, but it is included in case the data can be used somewhere. For example, if you want to have the Blog Title differ from the Blog Post’s Title in some places, you can use the Meta Field Block and choose the ACF Field
- Blog Subtitle: this field displays on the landing page gallery tiles, beneath the post title and also on the rendered post, beneath the hero image on the page.
- Next Page Label: This is used for Blog Series. If you would like to display navigation between related blog posts in a series, this would be used as the label for the next article in the series.
- Next Page URL: This is used for Blog Series. If you would like to display navigation between related blog posts in a series, this would be used as the URL for the next article in the series.
- Previous Page Label: This is used for Blog Series. If you would like to display navigation between related blog posts in a series, this would be used as the label for the previous article in the series.
- Previous Page URL: This is used for Blog Series. If you would like to display navigation between related blog posts in a series, this would be used as the URL for the previous article in the series.
