Project Fields

  • Buildertrend Name
    • This is the name that is listed in the Buildertrend system for the particular project. Most of the time, they are the clients’ names. This is added because most people will refer to the project by the client name. Adding this field makes it easy to find which client the project is for.
  • Website Name
    • This is the name of the project that is listed on the website. We use a different name for the website, so the clients’ names remain hidden from the public. This field is most often the same as the Project Page Title, but can be slightly different if necessary.
  • Brief Description
    • This information is a short label for the project that appears below the Page Title, both on the project’s page and in query loop galleries that link to the page. It’s basically a subheader. Think “Custom Farmhouse” or “Waterfront Home”, etc.
  • Hero Video
    • There are some pages that display the Featured Image as the Hero on the page, while others display a Hero Video. In this field, you can add a <video> element with the src of the video and some options for its display. There are instructional options listed that can be used as a guide for entering the <video> element into the field. If you only want the Hero Video to display on the page and not the Featured Image, you should tag the page with the “HideFeaturedImage” tag, otherwise both will appear on the page, with the Featured Image showing first.
  • Detailed Property Description
    • This field displays an extended description of the project; things like square footage, features, etc.
  • Query Loop Banner Text
    • Entering a value in this field will show the value at the top of the query loop galleries. Keep it short, though, so it won’t wrap to multiple lines. Think things like “New!” or “New Photos!”.
  • Matterport Text
    • These are usually for New Home projects. There is a text file in Egnyte, in the Marketing folder for the project. Open the text file, copy its contents and paste into this Matterport Text field.
  • Marketing Text
    • The information in this field is not currently displayed anywhere, but can be. I think we envisioned it to hold data that could be used for other marketing-oriented purposes. It is here if needed.
