  • Ben Kromer Alter Ego

    Ben Kromer

Ben serves as Hug Construction’s logistical driver – self-described as the “gofer.” He moves materials, tools, and equipment wherever they’re needed, keeping crews supplied and focused, and handles the steady stream of debris that comes with any active job site. By managing vendor runs, storage logistics, and the heavy lifting (literally), he frees up the team to concentrate on their individual trades – and helps ensure clients’ homes don’t resemble landfills mid-project.

He’s not entirely sure what he’s known for at work (his coworkers have been suspiciously polite about it), but he does take pride in keeping things moving behind the scenes. While he claims his top priority is keeping his earbuds charged, he’ll admit a close second is meeting and petting clients’ dogs. At Hug, he believes a good construction experience starts with coffee – or preferably coffees. Outside of work, he enjoys Gonzaga Bulldogs basketball, corndogs, hotdogs, and, of course, literal dogs.

He cares most about follow-through, communication, and doing quality work that supports the success of each project.
